SDJB’s gold refinery refines the gold jewelry and items it purchases from consumers and mints the precious metal into one ounce “eco-friendly gold” bars. Some of this recycled gold is now being supplied to Timothy Meier Design for creating “eco-friendly” fine custom jewelry designs.
SDJB sees gold recycling on the local level as an important step toward a greener jewelry industry.
